The Aerius 490 Expedition is the ideal travel and expedition kayak, for lakes, seas and larger rivers.
This model is fast, tilt-resistant, extremely durable, has excellent linear stability, and the best sailing characteristics. The double air tubes provide an immediately secure feel and guard against tipping. The reinforced robust bottom is also less sensitive to damages from rough ground contact.
It is our recommended model for use longer tours as a hiking paddler, whitewater paddler, adventurer, expedition participant, or kayak sailing tour. Made for all ages and weights, it offers an enormous amount of leg room and luggage loading space.
